Taylor wrapped up the Speak Now Tour this week with back-to-back shows at Madison Square Garden in New York City on Monday and Tuesday night. I’m sure both shows were unbelievable, especially because she had three amazing special guests!! The first night Johnny Rzeznik from the Goo Goo Dolls came out to sing “Iris” with her. Then last night she had two guests – Selena Gomez to sing “Who Says” and the legendary James Taylor to sing the iconic song “Fire and Rain.” Personally, I am a huge fan of James Taylor and “Fire and Rain” is one of my all time favorite songs, so it was unbelievable to see them sing together!! Taylor also shared a beautiful story about singing “Fire and Rain” in chorus class and that she is actually named after James Taylor. I’ve added pictures to the gallery of both shows so be sure to check them out!

Taylor’s arm lyrics were particularly special for these last nights – they were lines from her own song “Long Live.” On Monday night the lyrics were “May these memories break our fall” and on Tuesday they were “Bring on all the pretenders, one day we will be remembered.” She also tweeted some parting thoughts about the end of Speak Now Tour:
“I can’t believe tonight is the last night of the Speak Now Tour.”
“About to hit the stage at Madison Square Garden for our last show on the Speak Now World Tour. Wow.”
“I have so much to be thankful for this year. I’m leaving New York, replaying this tour in my mind. I love you all so much.”
